I did, however, get a compiler error when upgrading to -stable. Resuming the build worked, though. After moving to -stable with gcc-2.95.4, everything has been great. I have XFree86 working with GNOME 2.0, and haven't noticed any other problems. I assume the P4 mobile will work just as well.
