	You're arguing from a desktop platform perspective, whereas
freebsd is usually used as a server platform, where no one ever sits at
the console. I think the current value of 8 vty's is a good one, and in
fact exceeds the number needed by the vast majority of users. 

	At some point in the future we may have a "desktop/server" knob in
sysinstall, but we have not reached that point yet.
