Not really, I haven't ever tried it. :)  If you have something similar
working and know how to do it, and don't mind sacrificing your filesystems
for the good of FreeBSD, go ahead :)

Is linux running UMSDOS or mounting the DOS partition?

Again, I don't know how rigorous the FS emulation code is.  Swap would
really test it.

As long as you don't run, say, Xwindows.  If I ran anything above X and 3
xterms, I swapped on 16mb.  I upgraded to 32mb; I can get it to swap
*occaisionally*.
