Yep, done it many times.  Installed 4.10 twice from source over the
last few days.

What are you running when you do build?  Did you read all the stuff in
the doc directory?  All you need to do is run ./build bsf from the
pine4.10 directory.. that's it.  No defining anything.. no nothing..
just ./build bsf.  Read the docs =)

Also, I put together a color patch for pine 4.10 if anyone wants it..
