Here is initial question: Cyrus-SASL compiled with the defaul options and --enable-login and installed on FreeBSD 3.4 reported in the sendmail logs: Jan 30 11:19:27 ns sendmail[26463]: SASL: available mech=LOGIN PLAIN ANONYMOUS, allowed mech=LOGIN DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 Why not available mechs DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 ?
