You should enable syslog facility. As for web, it is more complex and may
require other developers assistance. With time it definitly can be solved b=

first we need to ensure that root of problems is correctly determined, so
testing is needed first.

Also, you'll better compile mpd with debugging symbols enabled:

make WITH_DEBUG=3Dyes clean all deinstall install

And if hang occurs again, use "killall -QUIT mpd" to generate crashdump to
analyze.
