That a side what I am really after is high performance kernel threads
not necessarily posix to be use in Kaffe or Sun's JDK. OSKIT has 
a cool implementation of kernel threads and it so happens that the OSKIT team
ported Kaffe to OSKIT as a kernel module -- the oskit kaffe port
uses kernel threads 8)
