Err...  There must be, because I don't have the problem.
But that is in 2.2-STABLE (v2.2.5)

On the other hand, while I can get sound out, I can't
play a music CDROM.

I think ATAPI on the slave, second drive might be a
bit broken.  

Anybody else know anything about this ?
