Stacey: It sounds like something is just out of sync. This is why I
suggested sticking to the cvsup approach after "gutting" the /usr/src &
/usr/obj to start clean. I don't use the portupgrade utilities and stick to
cvsupping which has always been good for me.

I'd be glad to show you my cvsup script which runs everything through "make
index" after cvsup. Also, do you have a "refuse" file so you don't cvsup
the unneeded foreign language stuff..??? Might not hurt to switch to
another mirror for a fresh cvsup too. Can always switch back.
