Interestingly enough, I do have this line in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file: Section "InputDevice" Option "XkbOptions" "terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp" EndSection But that never has seemed to work. :-( I will try your suggestion. I hope it works, although killing the xinit process is not much more difficult.
