I see from google that something seems to have been added to HEAD and its UPDATING, but there is nothing of the sort in 9.0 RELEASE - p4. I really should have known better by now than to upgrade to a X.0 - perhaps by X.2 or X.3 they will have fix most of the stuff they broke with X.0.
