With CURRENT, 2 or 3 month ago it works correct.
I do not how it laptop now, and cannot test today CURRENT with new USB2 
stack

For CURRENT, I use
hw.psm.synaptics_support=1
in /boot/loader.conf
and all work OK, last year, or above

uname -a, please.
With amd64 it not work.
