My understanding is freebsd does not support scsi emulation.  Instead it
uses the atapi driver to control the burner.  neat, huh?

freebsd comes with a command line program that works well and is easy to
master called burncd...there is a man page on it, and a entry in the
handbook.  You first create an iso image with mkisofs, also command line
then burn it to your cd.  I dont think you need to make an image when
doing audio cd's havent got that far with it yet.
