I'm not an "ATA/IDE jock" at all, but this appears to be ok
(so far)...  (?)

Ummm-hmmm...  So far, so not-too-bad...

I bet (& am becoming more convinced) it's the memory-segment thing...
Card-doc will Tell The Tale (& some info on "iomem"... :).
