Hi Herve, I always use the rc script to start and stop Tomcat. I haven't used Tomcat on FreeBSD for very long, so I don't know whether removing tomcatXXctl is a good idea or not, however in my case removing it would not affect the way I work - assuming of course that the rc script was reworked so that it didn't need it ;) Regards...Geoff -- Geoff Glasson g_glasson@amnet.net.au
