I'm going to add this to the bug I've filed as well, but since buzilla is d=
own=20
for today:

Some additional observations:=20

=2D The warning messages only appear with quodlibet, not with other players=
=20
(such as rhythmbox). The playback issue however is present with all players=
=20
I've tried.

=2D I have gathered more evidence that the playback problem is not a decode=
r=20
specific problem, since I've been able to reproduce it with both mp3 and og=
g=20
vorbis data. Furthermore, the sampling rate threshold for the playback to=20
become stuttering is < 12800 Hz.

Perhaps you could try and resample some audio file you have to a rate below=
=20
12800 Hz and try to play it in rhythmbox or some other gst-0.10 player, so =
a=20
driver specific issue can be ruled out (the via8223 driver does seem somewh=
at=20
quirky, but it's the only sound hardware supported by FreeBSD that I have=20
available at the moment).

Cheers,
=2D-=20
