Thanks for the kind reply.

For a while there I figured that I must be imagining things. Yeah this
has been broken for some time now (along with xscreensaver-gnome-4.02),
despite my repeated posts to the list and the respective port
maintainers:-(

I know that the core team's busy at the moment, so I'll presume that the
port maintainers for these two ports are also members of the FreeBSD
core dev team.
