We can bring the NIS server up and a client up, and ypcat maps on the client without any problems. Also yppasswd does work. However; the login program does not recognize the users in the NIS map. It is supposed to automatically go to getpwent or something and check the nis map correct? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Mike Moseler
