Well, as I remember, your question is: does both "adjkerntz -i"
daemon and "adjkerntz -a" from crontab is valid?

Here is manpage quote:
--ii initialization call from _/_e_t_c_/_r_c (before any daemons are started).
AAddjjkkeerrnnttzz makes the adjustment of kernel clock (CMOS clock not
touched) and the initial time zone offset is stored into _a_d_j_k_e_r_n_t_z
kernel variable for following subsequent ''aaddjjkkeerrnnttzz --aa'' calls. Then
it goes to background pause which ends with SIGTERM. After receiv-
ing SIGTERM it acts like ''aaddjjkkeerrnnttzz --aa'' to insure that the CMOS
clock reflects the current local time zone.
Without going deep into adjkerntz internal logic words here
clearly assumed that "YES".
Maybe english here not the best one, but I am not native english speaker,
sorry. Feel free to change it to better/clear variant.
