This should be fixed now. The default paths were different from xdm's.

Works for me. Maybe you have local additions to the xdm scripts?

What I don't understand: both wdm's and xdm's Xsession look for
~/.Xresources while the code in libXt wants ~/.Xdefaults. Why the
different locations?
