With option SMP it still panics immediately. Without it runs fine (as I'm typing this now). I've attached (1) dmesg output. #5 is the without-SMP. #6 is with SMP (I don't really know how or why it's in the dmesg output after a panic and reboot) (2) the kernel config file I'm building from. Let's see what an even newer cvsup yields (dec 1 18:30 UTC) .. -- pub 1024D/FEA2A3FE 2002-06-18 Adriaan de Groot <groot@kde.org> If the door is ajar, can we fill it with door-jamb? --Boundary-00=_Eh4y//p6BLB2nSk Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"; name="dmesg" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dmesg" Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
