Thanks for your attention to it, but I do not currently have the 
hardware setup any longer for testing.

I DO however have one PC Engines WRAP (with if_sis) running FreeBSD 
6.1-PRERELEASE (Built Mar 15 2006) that seems to stay up forever without 
crashing so it's possible this bug was fixed, or at least I never put 
enough load on it to reproduce this issue.

I recommend closing this PR and I'll file a new one (and reference this 
one) if there is still a problem in the future.
