Since Win95 support P&P, I don't suspect it actually configured the
modem as I'm speaking of.  As I understand P&P is a 'soft' configuration
vs. a hard configuration.  A hard configuration is required for non P&P
systems.

This is the one that will do the 'hard' configuration for you.
