Did you put them into their respective subdirectories, ie all the bin.*
files in \freebsd\bin, manpages in \freebsd\manpages, etc?  Did you also
put the appropriate *.inf file in there too?

Check the ALT-F2 console and check for any unusual messages.

They need to be the same.
