-CURRENT questions should be asked in current@freebsd.org, a list you
should be subscribed to if you run -CURRENT. 

Going backwards is potentially dangerous -- the username size changed
between 2.2 and CURRENT, and could cause problems with anything that uses
[uw]tmp.
