I've tried everything I can think of to fix this, including reinstalling everything, and straight out of the box I get these errors from Gnome/GDK, whenever I run X-Windows.. and if I run Enlightenment, or certain GTK+ themes, X-Windows won't even start due to the errors. The errors: Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) serial 1150 error_code 10 request_code 129 minor_code 1 Gdk-ERROR **: BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter) serial 1151 error_code 128 request_code 129 minor_code 5 Even if I run Sawfish/IceWM/another-window manager on top of Gnome, I get those two errors right as I go to 'Logout', and don't see the confirmation/save-session dialog. I'm baffled :/ BTW, i'm no 4.0-RELEASE, on the XFree86 version that comes with it.. the GNOME version i'm using is 1.2 -- I downloaded the updated ports.tar.gz before installing .. although I had these problems when I installed the basic Gnome from /stand/sysinstall.
