The whole affair (the problem spotted by knu and this one) showed that bento testing, is important, but should not be used as a substitute for ordinary peer review and testing, because bento's bsd.port.mk usage pattern is quite poor. Unfortunately, I suspect that even though my patch was available for more that two weeks but only few individuals actually gave it a try. That's the real problem, which needs to be addressed somehow. -Maxim --=-kHodRkEA5XYBl3tzpLpi Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQA8ou1loNu5t4iCBa8RAhUNAJ9MNno2ZaVYkyx6sFizyCbDVRFJFgCfY+/I m9WjnRp7sBeZeu1+IaA4kQg= =UqBo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-kHodRkEA5XYBl3tzpLpi-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
