I get this, too from time to time on my DI 8100.  However, if I reboot,
the problem is usually solved, so it's something intermittent.  I have
noticed since the latest maestro3 update the other day, I haven't seen
the problem.

Could be.  While I have a wireless card for this laptop, I do not use
bsd-airtools (yet).
