Well it wasn't really a threat. Just suggesting testicular maceration
would be a desirable outcome for any male person who gave my email
address to thieves. As you'll see from the ".au" in my address, I live
in Australia, and travelling overseas to deliver retribution is an 
expensive business.

OK, fair point. I have to say with the many lists I use (and post to), I
haven't had this happen before. If it is, as you say, a third party
who's collaborated with thieves, then my apologies to anyone I've
offended here. I'll follow the issue up with the aforesaid
Norweigan/Taiwanese arseholes.

But it doesn't happen (or not much). With ng's, however, it happens all
the time, for which reason I'd never use a real email address there (and
wouldn't have here, if I had known what the outcome would be).
