Has anyone had any success getting 5.4RC2 installed on a Compaq Presario laptop? According to my BIOS, I have a Presario R3200 (Athlon XP processor). I get the splash screen, it begins the boot process and then it just shuts off the computer. I've tried to disable ACPI, but there appears to be no provision for that in the BIOS... Any help would be most appreciated.
