Just dug out my sturdy old Elsa modem, and the new USB stack does not recognize it anymore. Is that intentional, or did the device IDs just dropped between the cracks on the conversion to the new USB stack? # dmesg ... ugen0.3: <vendor 0x05cc> at usbus0 # usbconfig list ugen0.1: <UHCI root HUB Intel> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.1: <EHCI root HUB (0x15ad)> at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=ON ugen0.2: <product 0x0002 vendor 0x0e0f> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen0.3: <product 0x2265 vendor 0x05cc> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON 7-stable sees this: # usbdevs -v Controller /dev/usb0: addr 1: full speed, self powered, config 1, UHCI root hub(0x0000), Intel(0x0000), rev 1.00 port 1 addr 3: full speed, power 400 mA, config 2, ELSA Modem Board(0x2265), Lucent Technologies, Inc.(0x05cc), rev 1.00 ... # dmesg ... ucom0: <Lucent Technologies, Inc.
