hi, this may have been posted before or at least a message like it...if so sorry, i was unable to get replies... i have been trying to get my aztech pnp sb pro-compatible sound card to work under freebsd 2.2.6 with now success... i built a kernel using the pcm0 driver (luigi's snd code) and noticed that lint reccomends the addition of the pnp controller- where is this? and how do i enable it? from dmesg: pcm0 at 0x220 irq 10 drq 1 on isa Unknown card 0x0 0x0 -- hope it is SBPRO those settings are correct for the card... also i am to cat an .au thru //dev/audio to test/play, no? i have no /dev/audio device... it feels like i'm close to getting something to work here, but maybe not... i would appreciate any help- jus a pointer to an good piece of information on how to properly install a card with luigi's driver...i can't afford to get oss, so please don't reccomend that. thanks brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
