Thanks!  (It must be time to go home for the day...)   :-)

Curiously, I was following the instructions in Chapter 16 of the Lehey
book and I still don't see this step mentioned there, though I must
have been smart enough to just do it anyway the last time I built a
kernel.  I'll just write it in there so I'll remember a couple months
from now when it happens again!  :-)
