According to Slashdot (http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=00/11/29/1855248)
the problem is because IBM uses the same partition type as FFS for their
suspend partition.  So when it boots, it finds FreeBSD and/or the suspend
partition and...  I'm not sure where Slashdot got that information, but
it makes sense (to me at least).
