Are /usr/src and /usr/obj on the same filesystem?  I.e., are they both
subdirectories of /usr or do you have separate mountpoints for
/usr/src and /usr/obj?  If the former is true, take a look at
http://www.FreeBSD.org/FAQ/networking.html#EXPORTS_ERRORS (and check
/var/log/messages).
