Another minor nit is that healthd, et.al. may or may not work with AMD motherboards, depending on the temperature sensors used. In the case of the ASUS A7M266 motherboard, this motherboard uses the ASUS AS99127F monitoring chip (I think), which is accessible via the smbus only. Unfortunately, smbus (well, amdpm, technically) on the AMD 760 chipset is not yet supported in FreeBSD, even in -current (although tentative -current patches exist from at least two different developers), which means that there's no way to access temperature stats. [ Still, unless temperature/fan stats are *really* important to you, I'd continue to recommend the A7M266.
