Perhaps the mdoc(7) man page should be updated then:

 "Throughout the UNIX manual pages, a manual entry is simply referred to as
  a man page, regardless of actual length and without sexist intention."

Since nobody that I know refers to them as a "manual pages", and the mdoc(7)
man page itself indicates that they should be called "man pages", I prefer
to stick with tradition :).
