Just want to let you all know that I have started looking into getting bsd running on alpha systems without srm. I own a xl300 myself so will work on that one. I also have a as400 as a 'reference model'. I will use FreeBSD because I have more experience on that than on the other bsd's. However, most work will be needed in the loader and not so much in the OS. So if I might succeed, getting it done for the other bsd's should be trivial. My goal is to first get a kernel running on a modified milo and after that to create a selfhosted bsd loader. If someone has help or advice for me, I would be pleased to get that. There is quit some information in all the archives and I will use that as a lead.
