Well... it is really like an RC.  There no chance of fixing this for
3.1.0; BUT we should ask for clarification so we can get it fixed in
3.1.1 if it is agreed to be a bug.

Everyone should read this as: REPORT ALL GCC BUGS YOU FIND :-)
to "gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org".  It is our responsibility to assist in making
GCC 3.1.x the best GCC yet as the C compiler is one of our fundamental
tools and its quality directly affects us.
