Those are all obsolete now.  The kernel detecs the correct values at
boot time. All you need to enable SMP are:

options         SMP                     # Symmetric MultiProcessor Kernel
options         APIC_IO                 # Symmetric (APIC) I/O

The 4.* smp manpage is pretty much useless, but the one in 5.0 does
mention these options.
