I didn't see this one.

I haven't figured how to do some of that. Being a maintainer requires
capability that I haven't added to my system. For example, I haven't
figured out how to do something simple like send-pr from it. I'm
working up to that but I'm not there. I don't want my FreeBSD system
to receive all of my email and the common link is Netscape Messenger
running on Windows 2000. I'm always telneted in to one of them. One
was a recent switch from 2000 and that's progress :). That's why "bush
doctor" took my diff's and created a pr for codecrusader. There were
parts in there that he needed to take credit for. At this point, I can
see why things are broken but my fingers don't work the FreeBSD
maintainer way yet :).

Since I'm retired, I can spend the time figuring out the ports system.
I have a couple of codes I would like to setup that way. Fixing
something that is broken is an easy way to train yourself. Especially
when it is horribly broken. These can be easier to fix than the subtly
broken ones. If I can figure out what is wrong, I'll send you some
-ruN diff's. It may be broken more than I can fix at this point. I've
spent the time to download the files. I'm starting out clean and will
look at it differently than you do. Even if I can't fix it, I will
have learned more about the ports system and no one else has lost
anything.
