Hello people, I'm in a bit of a situation here and I can't fing any help already on the web .... I'm using a copy of FreeBSD 3.1 and and Aztec Modem. Over the last couple of days I have tried to get my modem workind and I cannot get it to work. In windows 98 Se it says that my modem is COM4 .. I read that FreeBSD cannot use COM 4 because it shares an IRQ with COM2 and that I should change it... How do I change it if my modem is plug and play and there are no jumpers? Any how I tried to "boot -c" and there were error messages saying that sio2 and sio3 were not found also. Do I really Really Have to go rebuild the kernel for this to work? Thanking you in advance.
