Hi,

Still struggling with 4.1 RC and MySql. I have the exact same problem with
the 3.22.32 taken from the ports and the 3.23.21b compiled locally (with
FreeBSD threads, client-safe-thread). When I run the MySql tests
(run-all-test), MySql keeps eating more and more CPU up to the point where
the whole system locks up. On the console there is "01:46:56: /kernel: pid
3284 (mysql) uid 88, was killed: exceeded max CPU limit", but the system
doesn't answer any ping, nor ftp, nor anything it's like frozen ;-((

I have cvsup this box and rebuild everything two days ago.

Note that I am running 3.23.21b on HP-UX 11 and Solaris 8 without a glintch
so I don't think this is a MySql issue. Any help or hints will be appreciated.

Thanks,

-philippe
