I am trying to fix a few ports, but I cant find why:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/

is not hardcoded in to bsd.sites.mk, it is:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/

and is sorted in to some type of port-commiters usernames.
I am writing to see whether is it bad practice to put:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/distfile.tar.gz
in MASTER_SITES? I assumed that :
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles, would have
been hardcoded, anyone enlighten me?

Thanks in advance...
