Hi James,

Excuse me, if this is not the right adress to ask for support! If so,
please tell me where I could get some help with this - I am new to
FreeBSD...

I just did a "make install clean" on the VNC port and the installation
immediately goes out to download the sources for XFree86 4.3.0, as
though my system (5.4-RELEASE-p4) is running x.org 6.8.2. Is it supposed
to do that? XFree86 is not listed as a dependency of the /net/vnc/ port.

Here is a "screenshot" of the 'make install' process:

=> X430src-1.tgz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/xc.
=> Attempting to fetch from
http://www.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu/pub/XFree86/4.3.0/source/.
X430src-1.tgz                                  14% of   10 MB  115 kBps

Thanks a lot,
Dennis
