The reason I did so was because you can put this in the config: listen on 192.168.1.2 Very handy when you have multiple interfaces and do not want it listening on public interfaces. I'm of the opinion that a daemon should have the option on what interfaces it listens. Firewalls are there to protect, not as a workaround for an application that lacks critical features. \\Clay
