I hope you don't mean that you're trying to build a 3.3 kernel using a 4.0-CURRENT copy of config? :-) Have you tried this: cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf config -r MYCONFIG cd ../../compile/MYCONFIG make depend && make Ciao, Sheldon.
