i'm using DVD+Rs. unfortunately i don't have any DVD-Rs available
right now. this might be an issue with growisofs. i'm not using
cdrecord. i don't think it's capable of burning DVDs, but i might be
wrong there.

i guess i'll have to bite the bullet and run more tests. just thought
this was a common issue and somebody already came up with a solution.
