Thank you #2 !! The patch fixed my weird headphone sound too on 11.2-STABLE=
!

I still can't make the plugging-in switch work but it's ok. I created
scripts for that with

/sbin/sysctl hw.snd.default_unit=3D1 (headphones) or 0 speakers.
