Dear Patrik,
  Thank you very much for all your help. By the way, besides adding the 
lines:
pccard_enable="YES"
pccard_mem="0xe0000"
into the file "/etc/rc.conf" and modifying the file "/boot/kernel.conf" such 
that "iom pcic0 0xe0000", is there anything else I should do to bring up the 
WaveLAN card?
  Also after modifying the above files, should I "make buildworld" and "make 
installworld" or just "make buildkernel" and "make installkernel"?
